7 Reasons Why Man Utd Will Run Away With The Premier League Title This Season

1. Their Title Rivals Have Got Weaker While United Have Strengthened

While clubs in the Premier League fought it out all summer to sign some of the best from around the world, Manchester United went quietly about their business, sealing deals for Romelu Lukaku, Victor Lindelof, and Nemanja Matic.

All three players were additions in positions which clearly needed addressing from last season, and while United seemingly strengthened ranks, others would appear to have got weaker.

Champions Chelsea have allowed Matic to join United, while manager Antonio Conte has ushered Diego Costa away from the squad and brought in Alvaro Morata to replace him. Liverpool have made additions, but crucially have seen star man Philippe Coutinho's head turned by Barcelona, while Arsenal have seen Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil occupied by transfer talk all summer, and allowed Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to move on.

Only Manchester City appear to have strengthened their ranks in the off season, but Jose Mourinho will be confident of coming out on top in a battle against Pep Guardiola, having usurped the Spaniard during his time as Real Madrid manager.

All of this, coupled with United's impressive start to the season, bodes well for the Red Devils as they look to seal a first Premier League title since 2013.
