Everyone needs at least one season to get used to the Premier League. It was a scary place last year that had Lee Cattermole, Nigel Pearson, Clint Hill and Chris Foy living in it. If we're still muttering the same concerns about Angel Di Maria this time next year then I will accept he's done 'a Fernando Torres' but a player of his undeniable quality cannot go down as a failure after just one year. This year he hopefully won't have a burglary at his home, hamstring problems and Louis van Gaal playing him so far wide at Old Trafford he's almost in the Imperial War Museum.
