Lost amidst Ronda Rousey's reign of destruction followed by the game of musical belts being played in the women's bantamweight division is the dominance of strawweight champion Joanna Jędrzejczyk. She's undefeated at 13-0 with 7 victories in the UFC, winning the title in just her third fight with the promotion.

The fact that three of her four defenses have been decision victories doesn't paint an accurate picture of how incredible she's been. JJ is a relentless striker who pours on the pressure constantly and gets better as the fight progresses. She's entered that rare air where she's favored in every match regardless of the opponent, and not even the promotional skills of the UFC had many people believing that challenger Karolina Kowalkiewicz had anything more than a slim chance of unseating her.

The two Polish warriors went out and battled for 25 minutes straight in a fight filled with constant momentum shifts and a thrilling array of strikes. While Jędrzejczyk successfully defended her championship with yet another unanimous decision, her fellow countrywoman had the best performance of anyone who has faced her up until this point.

Not only that, but Karolina is so adorably likable that she has the potential to be a star in the division, by far the weakest in the entire organization. It's that lack of depth mixed with the airtight result of their war at 205 that shows that these two ladies need to lock horns again, and soon.
