7 UFC Fighters Who Are Bound For The Hall Of Fame

1. B.J. Penn (MMA Record: 16-9-2)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owezsdxumQM If it wasn't for B.J. Penn, we may not have the lower weight classes that we have in the UFC today. "Baby Jay" is recognized as the greatest Lightweight in Mixed Martial Arts history, with his eight-year long undefeated streak at Lightweight, and his ability to fight at various weights that puts him among some of the greatest fighters to have ever stepped in a UFC Octagon. His popularity sparked the interest in seeing lower weight classes, bringing about the formation of the UFC Featherweight, Bantamweight, and Flyweight Classes. His boxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu are considered to be second to none, with 7 of his wins coming by knockout and 6 coming by the way of submission. Although his recent performances haven't been the best we have seen out of him, what he has done for the sport is almost unrivaled. He'll face Frankie Edgar at Featherweight after a season of coaching the ultimate fighter, in what could one last ride for "The Prodigy". Win or Lose, he will go down as one of the best MMA fighters to ever compete in the sport.
