8 Frank Lampard Goals Chelsea Fans Will Never Forget

4. Chelsea 2 Barcelona 2, Nou Camp: Oct 31, 2006

From a seemingly impossible angle, Frank Lampard stunned everybody inside the world famous Nou Camp with a goal unlike any other. With incredible speed and intelligence the England international swivelled 180 degrees from the touchline, curling the ball into the far side of Victor Valdes€™s goal. Once again it was an important strike from a man that has produced so many memorable moments for the Blues and his goal meant that Chelsea levelled against arguably the best European side in the past ten years and a side that included Iniesta, Xavi, Deco, Messi and Ronaldinho. Many engaged in heated debate following the goal, questioning his intent to score. The London born midfielder commented after the match however that he did indeed mean to shoot for goal and that he often practises shooting from different angles in training. Wether a shot or cross, there is no denying the quality of the finish and the impact that it had on the tie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zP_5QhKnt1k
