Current Club: AC Milan You have to wonder sometimes whether Mario Balotelli is in the football game or everyone in football is part of the Mario Balotelli game. The Italian striker has managed to trascend the usual limits of football profile to sit alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic as a cult of his own making, perpetuating his odd public image every week (including having two fans invade a game to take a selfie with him). His ego knows very little limits, but that is precisely the sort of striker that top level clubs need: if your striker doesn't categorically believe that they are the best in the world, and are going to score a hat-trick every time on the pitch, because they are that good and absolutely deserve to, they're not worth their extortionate price tag. For all of his sins, Nicklas Bendtner knew just that, and while he didn't have the skills to back up his claims, and was largely a clown, he knew what the Balotelli brand was all about. And he might be controversial but he's exactly the kind of player the Premier League needs - which AC Milan seem to agree with, since they look so intent to send him back to England. Will He Sign? No, but maybe yes. Arsene Wenger apparently doesn't want him, but AC Milan are slashing his price right now to try and tempt them with a move. If they slash low enough, Arsene's inner bargain hunter is bound to leap out and snap him up.
