Andy Murray Almost Late To Receive OBE Because Of Drugs Test

andy-murray Andy Murray was almost late for receiving his OBE yesterday due to a drug test. The Wimbledon champion tweeted: "In the middle of a drug test hahaha I'm goin to be late!!!", at 8:28am this morning, two minutes before he was due to leave for Buckingham Palace. Murray received his OBE from tennis fan-Prince William in the Queen's absence. Murray had a taxi booked for half-past eight when drug testers came to his home at 8:20am. Following his Olympic and US Open triumphs, Murray was awarded the honour, before his historic three set victory over Novak Djokovic at SW19. Murray declared he definitely won't be playing again this year, with injury ruling him out of the ATP Tour Finals at London's o2 Arena. World 4th ranked player Murray has always expressed he will not be returning until 100% fit, yet expects to be back for the Australian Open in January. Elsewhere in tennis, Roger Federer has cut ties with his longstanding coach Paul Annacone. The 50-year-old American has been with Federer since 2010, but they have parted company following the Swiss great's slip to 7th in the world. Unlike Murray, Federer will be competing in the tournament at the o2 in early November.
