Arsenal 0-0 Chelsea: Premier League Player Ratings

Chelsea

Petr Cech: Narrowed the angle for first Giroud chance and got the second effort over his own bar. These were the only things he needed to do all game. 6/10.

Branislav Ivanovic: Tame effort in second half went straight at Szczesny. Blocked an Ozil effort and then made a dangerous challenge on the German that went unpunished. Gibbs attacking limited his own influence down that side. 5.5/10.

Gary Cahill: Fine defending when Sagna put in a dangerous cross and another decent challenge in the second half. Blocks always look a little desperate, but a clean sheet is a clean sheet. 6/10.

John Terry: Blocked a Rosicky shot and helped to turn a close range Giroud effort over his own bar. 6/10.

Cesar Azpilicueta: Made two rash challenges and lost possession upfield on occasion early on because he is playing down the wrong side. Began to draw fouls as the match progressed, however, and made a fine goal-line clearance in stoppage time. Clean sheet justified his selection ahead of Ashley Cole. 6/10.

Ramires: Headed over with a half chance in the first half. Booked for a customary lunge on Arteta second half. Brazilian midfielder was solid enough here. 5.5/10.
