2. Spurs Need New Full Backs

Simply put, Danny Rose is not good enough for a top four side - which Spurs, at minimum, should be aiming to be this season. The left back is not a bad player by any stretch of the imagination, but he is much better at going forward than he is at defending - and even then his final ball often leaves a lot to be desired - while he is very physically weak and slight which puts him at an immediate disadvantage in 50/50 situations. He was at fault for the Arsenal goal, allowing Theo Walcott to run behind him and play in Giroud. On the other side, Kyle Walker can be fantastic - as proven two seasons ago when he was the Premier League's young player of the year - but until he starts recreating that form, his place should be at risk. Whether that means bringing in someone new or giving Kyle Naughton (or even Younes Kaboul) a chance in his position is debatable, but he needs to book up his ideas because he's currently showing a lot of pace and very little else.
