Arsenal: 10 Best Premier League Era Players (Who Appeared Less Than 100 Times)

2. Giovanni van Bronckhorst

Dutch left wingback van Bronckhorst came back to haunt Arsenal as part of the Barcelona team that won the Champions League final in 2006. Gio as his name was often shortened to his shirt first helped the Gunners win another league and cup double in 2002. Arsenal then retained the FA Cup the following season in 2003. Knee injuries restricted Gio, however, and he was loaned to Barca after making just 64 appearances. Van Bronckhorst is one of the Netherlands' most-capped players, turning out 110 times for his country.
