Arsenal The success of a Premier League manager is usually judged by the team's league standings and recent results. It is those two factors that usually factor into any decision to sack a manager and to put things into context a little bit, the dismissal of Roberto Di Matteo - who won the FA Cup and Champions League with Chelsea before being dismissed - really does beg the question: How is Arsene Wenger still in a job when Di Matteo isn't? Arsenal currently occupy a Europa League spot in the Premier League, face a real challenge to qualify for the Champions League, are out of all domestic competitions and aren't very likely to progress in Europe based off recent performances. If a similar decline had befallen another "top" Premier League side, their manager would have been sacked, but not at Arsenal. For some reason, the board have stood by Wenger in times of adversary and whilst such loyalty ought to be commended, it is now becoming a little fickle.
