Arsenal: 5 Replacements For Arsene Wenger?

4. Frank Rijkaard

Frank Frank Rijkaard is perhaps better known for his successful stint as manager of Barcelona, where he won back-to-back La Liga titles between 2004 and 2006. Much of Barcelona€™s success these days is attributed to Pep Guardiola, but it was Rijkaard who resurrected them as a European force when he won the club€™s second Champions League in 2006, by defeating none other than Arsene Wenger€™s Arsenal. Before that, the Catalans had not won Europe€™s top prize in over a decade. Rijkaard would fit in seamlessly at Arsenal; he uses the exact template as Wenger in that he always strives for a free-flowing, attacking style of football built on quick passing and intelligent movement. Likelihood? He took over as manager of Saudi Arabia only two years ago and it remains to be seen if he would be willing to swap international management for the more intensive world of club management at this stage. 6/10
