Arsenal: 5 Replacements For Arsene Wenger?

1. David Moyes

David Moyes doesn't have a trophy cabinet full of silverware like the aforementioned list of managerial candidates, but what he has done is transformed Everton into a side capable of breaking into the top four of the Premier League on the most modest of budgets. He hasn't been afforded the luxury of being handed a transfer war chest in which he could buy the world's finest talents, but he has used the player's he does have at his disposal and moulded them into a difficult side to beat. In 2009, he came under pressure with Everton enduring a fairly tumultuous time.* The club were saddled with debts of £30 million and there were reports of player unrest in the dressing room. Yet if Everton beat Southampton tonight, they will go one point behind Tottenham in 4th place. Moyes' revolution at Everton has been uncanny and he is probably one of the most underrated managers around given his lack of silverware, which is very cruel. Likelihood? Imagine if Moyes was given £100 million to spend on a team? He could work wonders. If he was promised a substantial transfer kitty at the Emirates then a move might be too difficult to turn down. He is out of contract with Everton at the end of the season and has delayed signing a contract renewal at the club.** 9/10 Source(s): * BBC, ** Guardian
