3. Keep Benteke Quiet
It has been a pretty awful season for Aston Villa so far, but the one positive that can be taken from the campaign has been the form of Christian Benteke. His 11 goals have been the vital difference of being out of instead of in the relegation zone (only just) so far. He has been as eye catching at times as anyone in the league, particularly when he scored that marvellous hat trick at Anfield. Whether he stays in the Summer or not, he is clearly the key for Villa surviving in the Premiership come May. You would imagine, then, that if Arsenal can keep him quiet then Villa will struggle to cause an upset. Benteke will no doubt be encouraged to put as much pressure on Arsenal's centre backs as he can, to see if he can take advantage of any knocks in confidence from the Bayern game. Besides scoring goals, Benteke's strength and threat up front serves as a vital tool for taking pressure off Aston Villa's own defence. As much as Arsenal's defending has come under scrutiny this week, it can be no match for how poor Villa have defended all season, emphasised by the fact they have the worst goal difference in the league so far. Cutting Benteke off will surely present Arsenal with much more of the chances.
