Arsenal: 6 Results That Proved Wenger's Gooners Can Still Cut It

3. Arsenal 2-1 FC Barcelona (16.02.2011)

Having lost to Barcelona the previous year, at the quarter final stage of the Champions League, Arsenal were out for revenge in this last 16 clash. Despite beating the Gunners in 2010, the Catalan side had lost their European crown to Jose Mourinho€™s Inter Milan and were determined to reclaim their title of being the best team in Europe. Barcelona dominated the fast half and took the lead thanks to David Villa€™s cool finish. However, in the final 15 minutes Arsenal pulled off a sensational comeback. First Robin Van Persie equalised, before a brilliant counter attacking move was rounded off by substitute Andrei Arshavin. It was a momentous night for the Gunners and a reminder that, on their day, they could compete with anyone. http://youtu.be/fe3SYpDFqW8
