Best Striker 1: Dennis Bergkamp
Undoubtedly the best thing that Bruce Rioch did for Arsenal in his brief stint in charge of Arsenal was bring the outstanding Dutch striker Dennis Bergkamp to the club. Whilst the manager didn't last long, Bergkamp would make himself a hero at Arsenal, his deft touch and ability to pick the perfect pass in any situation made him an assist machine, alongside the vast number of goals that he scored himself. It took him a while to find his feet in the Premier League after his move from Internazionale, soon Bergkamp displayed his talent that stood out from the crowd in England. The man lovingly regarded as the "Non-Flying Dutchman" due to his fear of flying was certainly a performer when his feet were firmly on the ground, as he would tear other teams defences to shreds through his range of shooting and unbelievable passes. Bergkamp experienced a great deal of success at Arsenal both within the team and individually, with his performance heavily contributing to three Premier League victories and four FA Cups, with Bergkamp himself winning his PFA Player of the Year Award due to his role in Arsenal's 1997/98 league title. Bergkamp also has the distinction of being the only player in Premier League history to provide all three goals in the Goal of the Month competition, and is one of a select few to have won multiple Goal of the Season awards. Bergkamp's goalscoring exploits are demonstrated by stats of 120 goals in 423 appearances, but will be most notably remembered for his spectacular finishes against Leicester City and Newcastle United, as well as his ability to create scoring opportunities for his teammates, with 164 assists in his eleven years at the club. After scoring his final goal for the club on the specially themed Bergkamp Day against West Brom, many fans hope that following his foray into coaching at hometown club Ajax, the Dutchman will one day return to Arsenal and display as much ability in managing as he did as a player. Other contenders: Kanu, Nicholas Anelka, Sylvain Wiltord
