Arsenal Next Manager: 10 Replacements For Arsene Wenger
6. Ronald Koeman
Koeman seems content and Southampton just at the moment, and it seems likely that if the Dutchman does leave Saint Mary's it will be for the Dutch national team job, a role with which he seems to be constantly linked. If that doesn't come off, though, Arsenal could do worse than to make an approached for him in the summer. Koeman has coped well with losing star players to bigger fish each season and has made the most of the club's well regarded academy and scouting system to fill gaps with young prospects and overseas bargains. Remind you of anyone? On the downside Koeman's nomadic managerial career (Saints are his 8th club in 15 years) means that he may not stick around for the long term, but if he can be persuaded to set down some roots then Arsenal could benefit. He's not short of title winning experience either, with three Eredivsie titles to his name with Ajax and PSV.
