Arsenal Transfers: 10 Deals That Could Happen In January
2. Joel Campbell OUT
Following a string of impressive performances at the 2014 World Cup, many thought Joel Campbell had done enough to warrant an opportunity to break into the Arsenal first team. The Costa Rican was a key figure in the South American nation's run to the quarter-final stage in Brazil, but he has played a paltry 145 minutes of football for the Gunners since the conclusion of the tournament. Campbell's lack of action has led to speculation Arsene Wenger could give him the boot come January, but the Arsenal boss has dismissed rumours of such plans, citing squad competition as the cause of the situation. But with Theo Walcott on the mend and Alexis Sanchez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain unlikely to give up their first-choice statuses, the 22-year-old could benefit from a loan spell or even a permanent during the winter transfer period. There's no denying his talent, but the winger simply must get on the pitch more often if he's to remind people of his Wolrd Cup exploits and fulfil his potential. Probability: 7/10
