Arsenal Transfers: 10 Deals That Could Happen In January

3. Lukas Podolski OUT

Opportunities to prove he can still find the back of the net have been few and far between for Lukas Podolski this season. The German has barely featured for Arsenal, playing just 99 Premier League minutes in nine substitute appearances to date. Reports claim Podolski is growing increasingly perturbed by Arsene Wenger's decision to consistently overlook the once clinical forward. However, with Alexis Sanchez, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and soon to be Theo Walcott available as superior alternatives, is the Arsenal boss' team selection at all unjustified? Then again, it's natural to sympathise with the 29-year-old. He was close to unstoppable in his prime, but unfortunately injuries have blighted what could've been an incredible career. Podolski deserves a chance to see out his playing days with a bang, and with Wolfsburg, Galatasaray and Inter Milan reportedly interested in his services, Wenger should put the former Cologne starlet out of his misery. Probability: 9/10
