Arsenal Transfers: 10 DREAM Signings Arsene Wenger Could Make
2. Demba Ba
In a similar way to Alvaro Morata, Demba Ba could also bolster Arsenals attack force on a short-term basis. The Gunners were linked with a loan move for the Senegalese striker last summer but Chelsea boss reportedly pulled the plug as he considered his London rivals a title threat. Ba has been well-and-truly on the fringes at Stamford Bridge since, and hasnt played a league game for the Blues this year. His last appearances came against Crystal Palace on December 14, making a seven-minute cameo from the substitutes bench. Chelsea have this week agreed to sell Juan Mata another forgotten star in west London to Manchester United and Arsenal may well be tempted to find out if they will do the same with Ba. Apparently unwanted and definitely unused, the ex-Newcastle man is wasting away on the bench but his future could be salvaged by an Arsenal bid even on loan.
