Arsenal Transfers: 10 DREAM Signings Arsene Wenger Could Make

3. Alvaro Morata

Arsenal have struggled up front for much of the season and in spite of the fantastic form of Oliver Giroud, still need one or two new forwards. The long-term injury sustained to Lukas Podolski earlier in the season only served to highlight how threadbare the Gunners are in the striker department. New signing Yaya Sanogo has also been out with injury and Nicklas Bendtner cannot surely be considered appropriate, long-term cover should another injury crisis befall Arsene Wenger€™s side. Manchester City have four world class strikers in Sergio Aguero, Alvaro Negredo, Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic, and as such have been scoring goals for fun. You could argue Arsenal have just the one world class striker and that could prove very costly in the title race. The Gunners have been linked with a loan move for Alvaro Morata, the highly-rated Real Madrid youngster, but negotiations are stalling with the Spaniards reluctant to let their starlet leave. Still, he needs more regular first-team football and would certainly get that in north London, and would boost Wenger€™s attack in the process.
