4. Marco Reus

The Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder impressed away on Euro 2012 international duty this summer where he scored the fourth goal for the Germans as they easily disposed of Greece 4-2 in the Quarter Finals. During that game, Arsene Wenger was on commentary for French TV station TF1 and saw at first hand how skillful and impressive the 23-year-old playmaker was. Dortmund stumped up £14 million for Reus in January only to be immediately loaned out to Borussia Monchengladbach. He has returned to Dortmund to start the new campaign but has admirers across Europe after his performances at Euro 2012. However as Dortmund have just sold their star player
Shinji Kagawa to Manchester United, boss Jurgen Klopp is unlikely to sanction a move away for Reus, who signed with the intention of him being a replacement for their departed Japanese international. Reus would be a great foil for last season's loss of Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas. Wenger can't rely on Alex Song being a Gunner next season with mounting speculation that he could join Barcelona and with Jack Wilshere's injury problems, the expected sale of Arshavin and the fact he doesn't have Yossi Benayoun to call on that he had last season, Arsenal could do with adding some new blood in midfield and Reus would fit the bill.
