9. Mathieu Debuchy
At 27 Debuchy is just coming into his prime and with Sagna still to recover from his second broken leg inside 12 months he would be a great acquisition. If Sagna is unable to recover in time for the start of the season that would leave Carl Jenkinson as the go to right back. A man who still breaks out in cold sweats if you mention Old Trafford to him. He may be the right back of Arsenal's future but you would rather have someone tried and tested in a defence as porous as Arsenal's. Debuchy offers a tremendous attacking threat down the right flank as well as having solid defensive capabilities. After Debuchy's performances for France at the Euro's he may even be the better option when Sagna returns to full fitness. He has made it clear that he wants to leave Lille this summer and try his hand in a higher standard of league. Chelsea's interest seems to have cooled. Newcastle and Lille have been haggling for a while now so there is still time for Arsenal to enter the race.
