Arsenal Transfers: 5 Alternatives To Luis Suarez Now He's Unavailable

4. Fernando Llorente

Another fringe player who could be on their way to the Emirates this January is Fernando Llorente. The Juventus attacker has found life tough since the summer arrival of Carlos Tevez from Manchester City, being forced down the pecking order and out of contention under Antonio Conte. The former Athletic Bilbao man, who only moved to Juventus Stadium this July, has made 13 appearances for his new side, four as a substitute and playing a full 90 minutes of football just three times. And, with City's Alvaro Negredo, Chelsea's Fernando Torres, Swansea's Michu and Tottenham's Roberto Soldado all rivalling Llorente for a place up front in Vicente del Bosque's Spain side at next summer's World Cup, the Juve man could be open to a move to Arsenal in order to seek out more regular playing time to salvage his Brazil dream. The Gunners are thought to be looking into the possibility of a loan deal for the 28-year-old, an arrangement that would seem to suit all parties.
