3. David Villa
David Villa has been linked with a move away from Barcelona recently with a clutch of Premier League sides such as Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool being named as possible suitors for the Spanish World Cup winner. Arsenal are short on attacking options with Gervinho at the African Cup of Nations and Moroccan Misfit Marouane Chamakh on a 6-month loan at West Ham. Wenger therefore needs to strengthen in that department and had been eyeing up Villa in a bid to bolster his ranks. Unfortunately, he has been told by Barca president Sandro Rosell to forget about it.
"I completely rule out the transfer of Villa during the winter market."
