1. Antoine Griezmann
Arsenal have got Theo Walcott back from injury, and he marked his first start for three months by bagging a brace in the defeat at Manchester City. Him apart, there are no other genuine wide options fit at the moment. England teammate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is
out until the New Year, so Wenger may want to add another option to his squad in January. Real Sociedad star Griezmann would fit the Gunners style nicely and,
according to the Metro, they are having the player scouted. Although he is yet to receive recognition at international level, Griezmann is going in the right direction. He played Champions League football with Sociedad for the first time this term albeit unsuccessfully. Griezmann got in double figures last term as the Basque club gate-crashed La Liga's top four, and he has already equalled that tally in the current campaign. Going into the round of games this weekend, he has scored more league goals than established stars David Villa, Lionel Messi and Karim Benzema. Sociedad are unlikely to repeat their feat of finishing in a Champions League place, so it's only a matter of time before they have to sell Griezmann. Arsenal have done business with them before. Mexican forward
Carlos Vela was first loaned and later sold to them for a knockdown price. Wenger cannot expect Soceidad to sell Griezmann to the Gunners cheaply, however. His current valuation could be as much as £20 million.
