1. Luis Suarez
One signing that would almost certainly help Arsenal over the finishing line this season is Luis Suarez. The Uruguayan has been in unstoppable form since returning from a 10-match ban for biting Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic, scoring an astonishing 17 goals in 11 appearances for the Reds, including seven in his last three league games. The Gunners were heavily linked with a move for Suarez over the summer and even made
an audacious £40 million and £1 bid for the goal-machine, which was swiftly rejected by Liverpool out of hand. Suarez has always maintained that he wants to play for a team contesting the Champions League and though Liverpool are in the running to finish in the top four, may still find it difficult to hang on to their prized asset should the Gunners come in with another sizable bid. Suarez could be the one thing missing from this current Arsenal side and Arsene Wenger should go all out to make a transfer happen in the New Year if he is serious about ending his long trophy drought.
