4. Yoann Gourcuff
The attacking midfielder is a long-standing transfer target for Arsene Wenger with the Frenchman admitting back in 2011 that he once
tried to sign the Lyon man. Once considered one of European football's brightest talents, the former Milan ace has had his last three seasons wrecked by injury and his poor fitness is what caused Wenger to pull out of the deal two years ago. However, the 27-year-old is back on the Gunner's radar again with
reports this week that Lyon are offering the player in a part-exchange deal for Gervinho. The French club's president Jean-Michel Aulas recently admitted his club will cut their losses on the man they paid Bordeaux 22 million for in 2010. And the Gunners could be getting a good deal considering Gervinho has failed to impress since moving to North London from Lille in 2011, scoring just 11 times in 63 outings to date.
