5. Victor Valdes
Arsenal have been
on the hunt for a new goalkeeper for a while now and it is looking increasingly likely that this could be Wojciech Szczesny's final season at the Emirates after a string of gaffes. One of the problems Arsenal are facing right now is that they badly lack a leader who can marshal the back four. Not since the days of Tony Adams and Patrick Vieira have the Gunners had a take-no-prisoners powerhouse ensuring the defence stay in line. In Barcelona's Victor Valdes, Wenger would once more have that type of player. Valdes is a leader both on and off the pitch and images of him berating his defenders are not uncommon. Valdes would be ideal for Arsenal. He would bring the same sort of commanding presence to the squad that David Seaman did and let's face it, the Gunners haven't had a better keeper since.
