Arsenal Transfers: 5 Players That Should Definitely Be Sold
4. Abou Diaby
Yes, he's still kicking about- though not literally, it seems. The Frenchman has infamously been injured for as long as memory lasts, while every 'return' to the Arsenal squad seems to end with more injury frustration. Most recently he was rumoured to be returning on April 1st but that turned out to be an unintentional April Fools Day prank. (Though he has now actually returned to training) At 27 years of age, Diaby still has a decent amount of football years ahead of him but it seems he will never be able to shake the injuries that have plagued him throughout the recent years. The Gunners have done well to stick by him for so long, and Diaby has impressed when he features, but it's time for Arsenal to call it a day. He's sat on the sidelines for far too long and there is no end in sight for his injury problems. Whether we will see Diaby before the end of the season is yet to be seen but there's a high chance that if he does a swift gust of wind will send him back to the treatment room for another few months. Diaby is becoming Arsenal's equivalent of bigfoot, you'd be forgiven to think that he doesn't actually exist and that it's all just rumours. We can inform you that he is not an urban legend but the Gunners must send him on the way, as he is of no use to the team while constantly receiving medical attention.
