Arsenal Transfers: 5 Players That Should Definitely Be Sold
3. Ryo Miyaichi
The young Japanese winger was once tipped to be one of Arsenal's next big things but his only time in the limelight recently has been after a cock-up saw Arsenal face Bayern Munich with only six substitutes, as they forgot to put Miyaichi on the team sheet. In three years at the club, Miyaichi has made one league appearance and gone on three loan spells. At Bolton Wanderers he impressed, though his next loan spell at Wigan Athletic was overshadowed by a lengthy injury- which seems to have seriously altered his development progress. Though he still has years ahead of him, it's fair to assume that Ryo won't get onto the field anytime soon with Theo Walcott, Lukas Podolski, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Serge Gnabry ahead of him. Even the central midfielders are shifted out wide before Miyaichi gets a look in. The fact of the matter is Miyaichi hasn't shown that he is up to the required standard that it takes to be at Arsenal and there's no chance that he will get a decent chance to impress soon, as he has seemingly the entirety of the attacking squad ahead of him. If you can't find a place for him, he's no use.
