Arsenal Transfers: 5 Reasons Loic Remy Isn't Worth £80,000
3. Gnabry
The young German winger really looked the part last year, scoring the key opener against Fulham, and it seems Serge Gnabry has already warmed himself to the Arsenal faithful. Loic Remy has many of the same characteristics as the spritely youngster: they are both fast, creative players who enjoy cutting inside and opening up their options, and unfortunately, they cannot coexist without the latter probably losing out. In short, Remy could stifle Gnabry's progression. With the addition of Sanchez and the return of Walcott from injury, Gnabry will already have fierce competition as he tries to get into the first team; Remy would just compound the problem. So not only would we would stifle the development of another top young talent, we would be doing so at the cost of £80,000 per week.
