5. Arsenal To Miss Out On Yann MVila?

Arsenal were said to be chasing Yann M'Vila
last summer but the transfer window deadline day came and went and the defensive midfielder remained with Ligue 1 outfit Rennes after the Gunners withdrew their interest. But Arsene Wenger renewed that interest this month and was thought to be keen on bringing the 22-year old to the Emirates, with £3 million thought to be enough to secure the player. Unfortunately, QPR, who just last week
snatched Loic Remy from under the noses of Newcastle, were also thought to be an interested party. However, both could be left disappointed as Russian outfit Rubin Kazan appear to have jumped ahead of the queue.
Likelihood? According to French newspaper
LEquipe, MVila will move to Russia on a four-year deal worth £3 million-a-year later today.
