Arsenal Transfers: Wenger's 10 Biggest Ever Flops

7. Sebastien Squillaci

Squilacci Sebastien Squillaci hasn't played a single minute of Premier League football this season. He joined the Gunners in the summer of 2010 from Sevilla and it was hoped by Arsene Wenger that he would help shore up his creaky defence. That never happened. The arrival of German Per Mertesacker in the summer of 2011 effectively spelt the end of his career at the Emirates before it had really begun, and he has been limited to just Capital One Cup appearances this season, not getting anywhere near a Premier League team sheet. Where is he now? Still at Arsenal - despite clearly no longer figuring into Arsene Wenger's plans. No one wants to buy him, it would seem.
