4. To Get The Fans Back Onside
Arsenal fans tend to be divided over whether or not Arsene Wenger should remain at the Emirates. There are some who feel it is time for change following two domestic cup eliminations and a relatively poor Premier League campaign, whilst others have staunchly supported the Frenchman despite the aforementioned recent set-backs. But the truth is, these are troubling times for Arsenal and this game could be a season-defining moment. If they are eliminated over two legs by Bayern in the Champions League, they will have nothing left to aim for and their season will be finished. A win, however, against last season's Champions League finalists would go some way to getting the section of fans who believe Wenger's time is up back on side.
