Arsenal vs Newcastle - Live On Sky Sports 1

Newcastle make the long trip to North London to tackle Champions League chasing Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium desperate to break a sequence of five straight Premier League defeats. Team News Newcastle welcome back manager Alan Pardew to the touchline after completing his seven-match ban for head butting Hull midfielder David Meyler in the Magpies' last outing 10 days ago - a 2-1 defeat to Swansea at St James' Park. How Pardew must wish he could pull on a black and white shirt and get onto the pitch himself in order to arrest a crushing decline that has covered the near two months he has spent away from the dugout. Instead he must rely upon a squad refreshed by recovery of French stars Mathieu Debuchy, Loic Remy and Moussa Sissoko following their respective stints on the sideline. Remy's return, in particular, will sharpen a blunt attack that has yielded just two goals in seven matches, while Debuchy will come back in to fortify a defence that has begun to leak goals in floods. Sissoko is also back in training after sitting out the last three games with a hamstring injury but the midfielder may not be risked ahead of the final home match of the season against Cardiff on Saturday at St James' Park. Striking duo Papiss Cisse (knee) and Luuk De Jong are absent as is Hatem Ben Arfa, who is said to be struggling with a dead leg amid rumours he was sent back to France by Newcastle officials. There is good news for Arsenal after captain Thomas Vermalen stepped up his recovery from a hamstring injury but England duo Kieron Gibbs (hamstring) and Jack Wilshere (foot) remain sidelined along with Serge Gnabry and Theo Walcott (both knee). Newcastle Predicted Line-up Even though we can call upon the services of three key players the squad finds itself severely depleted by injury yet again to the point where the starting eleven virtually picks itself. Remy and Debuchy are certain to begin from the first whistle, while I can see Pardew taking a risk by slotting Sissoko back onto the right wing despite the French midfielder only making his return to training on Thursday, with Dan Gosling dropping back to the bench after a trio of successive starts. The only bone of contention will be at left-back where Massadio Haidara is pushing hard for a recall ahead of Paul Dummett, who has been preferred for the last three games and we feel the Newcastle-born Wales international defender, a favourite of Pardew's, will make it a fourth. Krul - Debuchy, Williamson, Coloccini , Dummett - Sissoko, Anita, Tiote, Gouffran - Remy, Ameobi. Subs: Elliott, Yanga-Mbiwa, Taylor, Haidara, Gosling, Marveaux, Armstrong
