Arsenal vs Stoke – 5 Ways The Gunners Can Break Down The Potters

3. Let Ozil Find The Right Pass

Every football fan in Europe knows just how influential Arsenal's deadline day signing of Mesut Ozil can be on the final outcome of the Premier League. The German international - who previously applied his trade at one of the world's most successful clubs, Real Madrid - cost the Gunners £42 million so it'll take him more than it takes most to live up to his price tag. Ozil has gone some way to doing that already however, assisting Olivier Giroud's goal in last Saturday's comprehensive win over Sunderland - for his first contribution in Arsenal colours. He clearly, therefore, has the wind in his sails now after his flying start in the red of Wenger's Gunners. This only built on the confidence he will have gained from scoring his 15th international goal for Germany in their 3-0 win at the Faroe Islands, during the international break that delayed his Arsenal debut. Wenger however, will have just been thankful that he didn't pick up any injuries at Ozil came into an Arsenal side that has a grand total of at least 6 first team players (Cazorla, Rosicky, Chamberlain, Diaby, Arteta and Podolski) sidelined through injury. The creative playmaker will be more than a handful for a Stoke side renowned for their defensive resolution, but whether they can stand resolute against a player of the quality of Mesut Ozil remains to be seen.
