3. Dennis Praet (Anderlecht)

This move could be a more difficult one to pull off due to interest from Premier League rivals Everton and Southampton but a move for Belgian wonder-kid Dennis Praet would bring some optimism back to Villa Park. The attacking midfielder, who can also play as a winger, would certainly bring more goals from midfield to Sherwood's Villa side - something they have been lacking for several seasons. Praet made 38 appearances last season, scoring nine goals in total. The midfielder also performed well in the Champions League - making 6 appearances and scoring against Galatasaray at the Türk Telekom Arena. Praet could command a pricey fee but would be well worth investing in. It's just a shame he won't be able to link up with compatriot Benteke in claret and blue!
