Footy news site goal.com are reporting that current Barcelona President Josep Maria Bartomeu has issued a hands off warning to Arsenal over French winger Ousmane Dembélé.

Just one year on from his huge €105 million switch to the La Liga champions from Borussia Dortmund, Dembélé is already being touted for a move away from the Camp Nou. The player struggled with injuries during a maiden campaign in Spain that fizzled out more than anything else.

Still, the 21-year old is someone Bartomeu insists has a bright future at Barca, and he insists that Dembélé will stay with the club. That means Arsenal, allegedly one of the sides looking to steal him away from Barcelona, will have to look elsewhere for attacking options.

Dembélé would have represented an exciting marquee signing for new Gunners boss Unai Emery as he bids to haul the London club back to the top of the Premier League.

He won't be part of the Emery revolution at the Emirates though. Bartomeu confirmed this by telling onlookers at MIT in Massachusetts that Dembélé (and Philippe Coutinho) are not going anywhere.
