Bayer Leverkusen vs Man Utd - How Red Devils Should Line Up

Centre-Back - Nemanja Vidic

After starting all five of Manchester United's opening Premier League games alongside Rio Ferdinand, Nemnanja Vidic too has dropped out of the side in recent weeks. However, he is back from the concussion he suffered against Arsenal prior to the international break and could play against Leverkusen on Wednesday. There are some who say Ferdinand and Vidic should no longer play together but between them they have 136 matches of Champions League football under their belts, and the experience they bring to the side cannot be overstated. With the continued absence of Phil Jones, it's difficult to think of a better combination against Leverkusen and I expect Moyes to stick with the 'old guard' tomorrow.
