Midfielder: Paul Scholes
Next up, the team needs a creative attacking midfielder with goals in him, and no Premier League player has ever been better in that regard than Paul Scholes. These days, at the ripe old age of 38, Scholes is more of a deep-lying playmaker, but in his prime he was the provider of goals and assists aplenty. Scholes has won pretty much everything there is to win at club level, having won numerous Premier League titles with Manchester United, as well as the FA Cup, League Cup and, of course, the Champions League. He was also a mainstay in the England setup until his
international retirement in 2004. He is simply one of the best midfielders in the world of his generation.
