Goalkeeper: Peter Schmeichel

schmeichel Peter Schmeichel was the best goalkeeper in the world of his generation. Simple as that. He was with Manchester United from 1991-99 - a period in which he won five Premier League titles, including the inaugural 1992-93 title. He also won three FA Cups and the 1998-99 UEFA Champions League. A Danish international, Schmeichel left United for Sporting Lisbon, but returned to England for brief spells with both Aston Villa and Manchester City before retiring in 2003.
