Best Premier League XI Of The Last Decade

3. LW - Mo Salah

Admittedly, it was difficult picking between Gareth Bale and Mo Salah for this position. At the very beginning of the 2010s, Bale made the move from mediocre left back to left wing sensation.

Despite Tottenham failing to achieve anything with him in their team, his form earned him a number of plaudits and individual accolades regardless. However, anyone who watches football knows that Bale has had his best years at Real Madrid. Salah, on the other hand, seems to be having his best years while at Liverpool.

Unluckily for him, the pacy Egyptian was never given a real chance at Chelsea by Jose Mourinho, eventually being shipped off to Roma. So when he made his move back to England to play for Jurgen Klopp's side, it was clear that he had a point to prove to his doubters. It's safe to say, he's done exactly that in his return to the league.

In his first two seasons with the club, he smashed in 54 goals and created countless assists as he flourished alongside Saido Mane and Roberto Firmino in Liverpool's frontline. You only get those sort of numbers with the elite players and Salah has proven himself to be one of those in the last few seasons.
