Nayim is a Tottenham Hotspur legend - albeit largely due to the fact that he lobbed Arsenal's David Seaman from the halfway line, two years after leaving Spurs, to give Real Zaragoza a 2-1 win over their bitter North London rivals in the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup Final of 1995. That said, the midfielder wasn't a bad player at all in his time at White Hart Lane and it really is quite surprising that he didn't earn a single Spanish cap in his entire career - particularly as Spain weren't all that great back then. He was creative and a battler - something that earned him the love of the Spurs crowd. The former Barcelona man played 144 league games for Spurs - though only one season in the Premier League era - and scored 18 goals. He left for Zaragoza in 1993 after five years at White Hart Lane - and he could have actually moved to Juventus, but turned down more money to return home.
