1. Roberto Di Matteo
Roberto Di Matteo was so unfortunate to lose his job at Chelsea. He became the first manager ever to win the Champions League for the Stamford Bridge outfit, and let's not forget the FA Cup victory that same season, either. Pundits are still scratching their heads in puzzlement over owner Roman Abramovic's decision to fire him, there's not an awful lot more he would have done that season other than win the Premier League. Fans still chant his name at Stamford Bridge and his successor Rafa Benitez has been about as popular an appointment as Steve Kean proved to be at Ewood. Di Matteo has been out of work since November, and he would be the perfect choice for the new Blackburn Rovers manager. He might not have all that much experience - he only managed two sides before his appointment at Chelsea, those being Milton Keynes Dons and West Brom, but how many other jobless managers are out there who have "Champions League Winner" on their CV? Obviously, nobody is expecting him to achieve those dizzying heights with Rovers, but his ambition and determination would be ideal in this job at Blackburn look to reverse their awful slump to 17th in the Championship and get themselves into play-off contention.
