Cardiff: 5 Reasons Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Can Save The Bluebirds

3. Premier League Experience

Solksjaer played 11 years of Premier League football with Manchester United, making over 200 appearances in the competition. He won the league on no fewer than six occasions, most recently in 2006-07. He has got a vast amount of Premier League experience under his belt and he will be able to transfer his knowledge of the English game into his managerial role. The Norwegian will know what the best choice of combat will be for the survival battle that his club faces as he faced many battles himself. Granted he never did experience a relegation battle as he was too busy fighting at the other end of the table. However, that also gives Cardiff an advantage as he will be aiming high and not just wanting to scrape by. Ole Gunnar Solksjaer's Premier League experience will prove to be vital for Cardiff to avoid dropping into the second tier of English football. He can do it and his experience of the league as a player will be one of his trump cards.
