Cardiff: 5 Reasons Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Can Save The Bluebirds

2. Managerial Experience

It's not just time on the field that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can boast, he also has a fair few years of managerial experience in his locker. It has been a decent few years for the Norwegian as a manager and he has been very successful. The majority of his experience comes from his homeland- Norway. Although not one of Europe's top leagues it is extremely competitive. During Solksjaer's three years in charge of Molde his side lifted the league title twice and the domestic cup once. He also led the side to the Europa League, though didn't get the chance to take charge as he departed for Wales. Before his time at Molde, Solksjaer was in charge of the Manchester United reserves for three years- making that six years in total of managerial experience. His time at United reserves was also successful, as he lifted a number of trophies. His work attracted the attention of the Norway national side and Aston Villa but he rejected both jobs as it wasn't the right time for either. However, he's now taken a huge step coming to Cardiff and he's ready.
