Cardiff City: 5 Craziest Things Vincent Tan Has Done

3. Booing

Back in late December Vincent Tan was centre of yet another storm. In the last match before the unpopular sacking of Malky Mackay Vincent Tan was recorded booing, though the recipient of the jeers is unknown. The incident occurred after his side conceded a last-gasp goal to draw 2-2 with fellow relegation strugglers Sunderland. The Malaysian owner received a large amount of stick from the home faithful throughout the game and had witnessed his side throw away a two-goal lead that would have given them a vital three points in their relegation battle. The cameras clearly showed the Malaysian owner booing after the final whistle. The question is, was he booing the players or the fans? Booing is a regular occurrence in British football particularly after a bad result. However, seeing such things from the clubs owner is just remarkable. Perhaps he just got caught up in the moment and was expressing his frustrations. Still, that's hardly excusable for a man in his position and it was a daft decision considering the timing of the incident.
