It is rare in recent times that a transfer window has gone by without Celtic being linked with a move for 28 year old Scottish international Steven Fletcher and this summer's window has been no exception. However on this occasion it seems like Fletcher€™s time with the Sunderland might well be up, with both Jermaine Defoe and Danny Graham seemingly ahead of him in the club's pecking order. A price-tag of £4 million was mentioned when Fletcher was linked with a move to Swansea recently and whilst that certainly seems affordable given Hartson€™s £6 million criteria, Celtic assistant manager John Collins has insisted in the past that Celtic would not be able to afford the Scottish striker€™s wages. However given his capability of playing the lone striker role he may be an ideal signing for Celtic if they could talk him down to a lower wage. Likelihood Rating: 3/10
