Celtic Transfers: 10 Big Signings For Champions League

1. Kyle Lafferty (Norwich)

A controversial suggestion to finish especially given the, perhaps justifiable, hatred some sections of the Celtic fan base hold for the €œformer Rangers€™€ (pun intended) striker. However for anyone who has watched Kyle Lafferty€™s recent performances for Northern Ireland in their current European Championship qualifying campaign he looks to be EXACTLY what Celtic need in a lone striker. His hold up play has been fantastic, he has been brilliant in the air and he has shown that he can create chances out of nothing. What€™s more, Ronny Deila is thought to be a fan of the Northern Ireland international, having apparently sent John Collins to watch him play against Finland back in March. And with Lafferty out of favour with Norwich and looking set to move on this summer, then why couldn€™t Celtic be his new home? Of course he would have a long win to go to win Celtic fans over after his antics during his time at Rangers, however if he delivered for the Hoops on a regular basis it probably wouldn€™t be too long before most fans were willing to forgive and forget.
